You can use an Automation Rule to look for change of "DVD" and then do a SetVar with "BluRay" to same value.
EDIT...looks like Dave already got it for ya.

Thanks Dave I appreciate you adding this! This is something that I've been wishing for for awhile now.I just pushed an update to the Denon driver. It will now automatically query the AVR for all possible status and then create the appropriate server variables. I followed, what I believe to be, the most recent Denon protocol document. Hopefully it gets you the info you are looking for.

Hi Dave,
I'm displaying the Denon server variables {{av_<id>_source}} and {{av_<id>_surround_mode}}.
These are largely working - but SOME of the responses from them are not showing.
When watching the debug, I can see the correct source and surround mode commands triggering, and can then see the variables running.
The variable TX commands are sent correctly, and I can see the expected RX responses in the debug log.
For certain responses, the variable doesn't display on my page.
Any idea why this could be?
It seems that the 2 character source responses are being missed - all the source responses that have 3 or more responses are picked up - possibly relevant!
Some examples (these don't display the variable on my page):
27/08/2024 18:44:20.44 · DEBUG · Server.doCommand - AV|1~Source~CD from iruled-fx-e8q6

27/08/2024 19:00:22.00 · DEBUG · Denon.RX - <<SI8K>>
This one DOES display the variable on my page:
27/08/2024 18:47:08.47 · DEBUG · Server.doCommand - AV|1~Source~DVD from iruled-fx-e8q6
27/08/2024 18:47:08.47 · DEBUG · Denon.doCommand - Cmd=[1~Source~DVD] Client=[iruled-fx-e8q6]
27/08/2024 18:47:08.47 · DEBUG · Denon.TX: (1) - SIDVD
27/08/2024 18:47:09.47 · DEBUG · Denon.RX - <<SIDVD>>
I've setup automations to rename the responses as per your help above (thanks again!).
I'm showing both variables (source and sourcename) just to verify that my automations aren't the problem here!
I am getting an error ("Insufficent parameters for command") with my surroundmode automation, which stops the last few lines working - which I assume is because it has 55 lines (there are many potential responses!) Is there a way around this - if it's a limitation?
Many thanks for your help - apologies for bombarding you! Hope this makes sense...

@davep - if you have any possible solution/ comment to help me with my last post on this topic, it would be much appreciated - it doesn't seem there's anything I can do to make the two character source responses work - I think only you may be able to fix this!! (the longer source responses work perfectly!)
Many thanks!

Right you are it was ignoring two character responses. The driver I just released eliminates that feature.
