Trouble adding rooms

Followed instructions to add room. I see the room,  however it doesn't create a macro and the room is not seen in the available rooms or in the room/device matrix.  I tried adding the macro and the room still isn't available.   Everything else so far is going good.  

I get this too in my janky Windows trial version setup. I wasn't going to mention it until I'd investigated more given the nature of my installation. I've also seen a room that shows up in the sources/rooms matrix subsequently disappear despite still existing in the rooms list.

You create a room, and then you assign devices TO the room.
The system auto magically creates macros at that point (not during room creation).
And you can always create your own or edit the ones that are there.
Freedom of doing what you need to do.
