I was able to move the switch to "disable" for the "always on" setting on the shelf mount box. When I execute "Power Off Host" the OS shuts down but I still have to manually power off the controller box with the power button (ie, change it from blue to red). I need to investigate if there is a way for the box to automatically go Off, like occurs when shutting down a typical windows machine.
Also, I wanted to confirm that this is still the relevant curl command (which I can relay from the windows machine to controller via ethernet):
