ATTENTION!!!!

If your SmartRemote is showing icons on the home page but when you click on them they do nothing then you might have been bitten by a bug in myServer. This issue has been resolved in the current myServer but if you added some sources last week you probably have the issue.

The issue was that when the source activation macro was created the server injected an underscore character into the name when it should have been a dash.

Like: activate-source.harmonyactivity_listen to music 

It is supposed to be activate-source.harmonyactivity-listen to music

This is true for ALL sources not just the Harmony one shown.

If you edit this source you will see that the macro field is blank because the macro with the underscore could be be found.

Click on the dropdown and select the correct macro from the list. The one that has the dash "-" in it.

Then Save.

Refresh the SmartRemote. Long-press on the Home button. The source should activate now.

If it still doesn't then let us know. We'll have to remote in and have a look.

 

Also, there needs to be a valid webpage defined at the end of the activate source macro. For example, you might have a "Nakamichi reel to reel" hardware but if there isn't a "reel2reel.html" then nothing will display when you click the icon because there is no existing web page to display.

This understandiing is important to provide a peek at how this stuff really works.  For example, I created a new 'source" for my RV Wet Bay control.  So, I created a "wetbay.html" in myDesigner, and then manually edited the second to last line in the Activate Source macro to call "wetbay"
