Sennheiser Ambeo Max Soundbar

I'm thinking of swapping out my Sonos ARC for a Sennheiser Ambeo Max.  Are there any plans for a driver?

Drivers are usually pretty easy as long as we can find a published protocol document. If you can find one send us a link or email it to me.

I sent a note to my contact at Sennheiser to see if they have a document they can share. The soundbar has dropped a bit on my list because the Lip Sync can only be adjusted to 100ms. My Sony TV needs 300ms to get the sound right.

Don't you set the lip sync once and forget it?
What would a myServer driver do for the soundbar?
Typically, the TV volume control controls the soundbar volume...what else?

eARC is problematic with the Sony TV. Hopefully they will have firmware fixes in the near future, but it is sporadic at best. One solution is to feed it directly via HDMI, thus the need for volume commands. This soundbar also has sound modes, etc that can be activated when needed (for example, Music vs Movies).
