Cannot add android TV box

I was using a Nvidia Shield and for various reasons removed it from my system, I also have the smartremote which was working. I replaced the Nvidia with a new Google TV streamer. Trying everything to add the box to myserver was unsuccessful from the dashboard. I eventually removed all devices (android tv) and the driver and re installed it. 

I still am unable to get any android tv box added. I also have some onn android tv boxes and they won't add either, USB debugging is turned on. Along with developer options. Each time I try to add a box I get a error in the logs error in move next - the input string 'Theater' was not in the correct format.

These are rooms added in myserver that worked before, I tried several different rooms and none work.

I have tried all of that prior to this post, sorry if it wasn't clear. I am seeing a similar issue to another user on the forums, here is his post

I'm still having issues with adding a fire tv as a device..  I'm not sure if the issue is related to the image this time because it seems to be just with MyServer. ADB is working on the Pi server. ADB Debug is on on the Fire TV stick.  I can connect to the the FireTV using the adb command on the terminal from the pi server and it will show up in the devices if I do a terminal command of adb devices. In myserver I can't add a device, none are discoverable, nothing shows up in the list.
When I try to manually AddDevice command in the driver manager for the andriodtv driver, it returns a "Error in MoveNext The input string [depends on what string used] was not in a correct format" In system events. I've deleted the use of that single variable it errors,(for example friendlyname)  but then errors on another value (for example Room Name) in the string. is this a related issue to the image or is it something I'm missing in the documentation?  Thanks!

I am seeing the same error in the logs, when trying to add back my smartremote, or the google tv streamer. Futher info I can connect to the google tv streamer via terminal adb commands from another machine. 

Figured it out, even though the field was under signage it still had to have the player number assigned.
