Lag on commands & starting Apps on Android TV Box was created by RoyN
Hi,
I'm not sure if I can tweak anything or if there is a better way of doing this, but I'm getting a very noticeable lag when using SendKey commands to my android box for navigation... Is this something that can be improved? I'm currently getting something like 0.5-1s delay, which is very noticeable (although it seems numerically small, when you want to scroll a list of movies, for example, it becomes very noticeable)...
Has anyone else seen this or have a setup without lag? It doesnt seem to be a lag on the ADB command itself as I tested with a remote app through ADB and it was pretty quick to respond... but I may be wrong?
also is there a suggested way of starting specific apps? I see some apps are already defined in the Launch command, but mine arent there... What is the recommended way to start a specific app? (I also tried the the VIDEO_APP_X command but those arent what my box uses apparently)...

Not seeing any real lag...my FireTV Cubes are ethernet connected and all are static addressed on the same subnet.
Are you using a AndroidTV, a FireTV stick (which one?) and Cube? They all have different performance.
Built into the TV are the worst performance of the group, Cube being best.

Got it... Nillaz also commented he has no noticeable lag so it must be something on my side... This unit is a little bit older, and a "stick" type (its a chinese brand unfortunately) i'm going to see if I can get a newer one when I'm back in town next month...
Have you guys had any progress on the Android 11 issue of getting ADB to connect? (If we recall we spoke about that and I think I sent you a link, I was able to connect using the adb pair command, but didnt do it through myServer as I didnt want to update ADB without your OK).

Hi, I was out of the country last few weeks, wanted to circle back to see if Android 11 has been supported already? (afaik it requires an ADB update on the server and use the ADV Pairing instead of ADB Connect feature...)
