myServer supports the Optoma line of projectors via an IP connection.
Installation:
If using IP2Serial hardwrae: Configure IP2Serial driver. Likely port speed is 9600 8/1/None
Download and install the driver from myServer's software updater
click on Drivers / Optoma / Configure
Click on Discovery. Soon your online IP connected Optoma projector should be found and added as a device ID.
Add the projector as a device as type "Projector".
If you are using RS232 project connected directly to myServer (typically via a USB to RS232 adapter cable), then add the Serial Port.
If you are using RS232 projector, and a GlobalCache RS232 adapter, put the GlobalCache IP2Serial IP address for the Optoma device. And port 4999. You don't need to populate the Serial Port field.
Put the projector device into a room. This will auto create the "active-source.optoma" macro that can be optionally further configured if needed.
You can also modify the room activation macro for the Optoma to be a "TV / Projector" ID.
