my movie and music should come back because a lot customer have movie collection and music collection 
dune player has update system to stream and player movie from hard drive 
this allowed both world 
so be able to controller dune hd will work
but music i would back to old setup it work great

I'm a big supporter of this too!  David had mentioned that at some point the myContent which I presume included myMovies and myMusic from the v5 myServer would eventually port over to v6 so I am ever hopeful this will happen sooner rather than later.  I have large movie and music collections and run both a v5 and v6 myServer environment presently to access and control everything.  My v5 myServer has gotten long in the tooth and I even managed to mess up my SQL database or configuration such that I can no longer add any new movies to my collection as the myContent app will error out when trying to search for UPC codes or movie titles but it is the best I have so far to control my setup. 

Personally I'd be thrilled if Plex support came back.  I've got a large collection and lifetime Plex subscription

Allonis's concentration will be Jellyfin media management.
the original myContent functionality is more or less supported in Jellyfin today.
Kodi is likely next as there is already a driver for that
Plex might be after that due to it's popularity.
Kaleidescape is also a priority.
Allonis very likely won't be recreating "myMusic" / "myMovies" as it was back in the day as other solutions do most of those functions.  Cool stuff but a lot of work to maintain the various content source scrapers et al.

Certainly the above is subject to change, more with a company / individual that funds a direction.

David, will there by any way to port or pull data from myContent into Jellyfin so we don't have to recatalogue everything again? Any thoughts on ways to migrate as I'm not familiar with Jellyfin at all.  I just quickly looked over their documentation and it seems it pulls content from shared locations rather than being a user input archive as far as I can tell.  Wondering how best to still track and launch my almost 800 DVDs in changers and 100 BluRays that are on shelves still waiting to be ripped (ahem, backed up!). 

Anyone else have any thoughts on those of us who still rock changers in our setups?

There are few users who use dvd / blu rays from our informal surveys. Most are streamed content and some are ripped.
