Run Curl command in a macro

Is your Yamaha the newer model that uses the Yamaha Extended Control API protocol. You send http gets and get json back? Can I test the driver on your system?

No it's ancient I'm afraid.

What model is it? There is at least 3 Yamaha protocol versions

Very nice, thanks Dave!  This works like a champ!  I like the way it parses the results into variables but also having the full result in a single variable as well.
