Blank Screen, No users, no Rooms was created by Mark Guebert
I have been trying to get the smartremote setup, I am experiencing issues with the screens.
From the server dashboard I can open the smart remote template and it does open, I can process commands.

In my designer I have it set per the video and I can see the template (renamed to smartremote) but no matter which overlay or html tab I open they are all blank.

I can also see that the remote is connecting to the server on the dashboard.

I have the settings in my designer set to \\myip\myserver
and the url \\my ip

I connected to the smartremote from the server with adb connect myip and opened chrome I checked all the settings there and they all seem to be correct.

Any ideas?

I have the same issue. On my laptop it's fine and everything opens. My only issue is the High DPI issue. I installed Designer on another desktop with a 1080p monitor hoping for a better viewing experience. On that PC, I get the same thing you are getting. Designer connects to the server and sees my projects, but if I click on a scene, it is blank and the bouncing bars (top right in the middle window) just keep bouncing.

I believe I had this issue once but haven't seen it in a while.  Am I correct in assuming that when you bring up a scene the button images(like the white OK and white directional arrows) don't even show up?  If so I just re-downloaded the template and started over, fortunately it was before I really had much setup so I back in business quickly.

"Click on the Clientname field. You can name your remote what you want.  For our purposes, we will call it "SmartRemote8".  Don't put spaces in the name.  Keep the name simple as it will be used in lots of macros and variables."

Your smartremote name was "Theater Remote" that has a space in it. Remove the space.
Note, this was observed using " chrome://inspect" and looking at the Application Local settings FYI

Thanks now I can see everything on the remote. I had to remove the server ip and connections from the chrome:inspect screen and re input the name and ip into the remote. It wouldn't let me change it from the adb connection.

Is it normal for me still not to see anything in my designer when opening the index page etc?
