you don't HAVE to do anything....myServer will continue to be merry on the original OS. But, if you are OCD or moving hardware etc...the only way to get to the latest OS is to install the latest Master Image (Trixie) to a NEW USB / NVME etc (depends on your hardware platform) and then move your project specific files from OLD to NEW. This is spelled out in the Master Image Install documentation.
