Do I understand you can use the climate simulator driver for real, adding in some kind of temperature sensor and a separate device to control? All I can find is
allonis.com/support/documentation?view=category&id=294
which doesn't help much.

yes, it is intended to do that.
We have used it for simulations of hardware based thermostats for a long time. But there is no reason it can't also be used for real implementations. I have a few projects here for that, but haven't had the time to put that together. Feel from to try and post your success.

I may check this out. Does it simulate a programmable thermostat? If so, I may have a couple projects for that.
Thx, Chris

Is there a way to manually add the thermostat? Discovery isn't working for me. This thermostat worked fine with MyServer V5

Hi Will, what thermostat are you using? A Venstar? Discovery should work. Is APK turned on on the thermostat? Have you been able to Ping it from myServer 6?
The Venstar driver is Beta. We know there are some variable naming inconsistencies that keep the out of the box UI's from populating correctly. There isn't a manual entry today. I would suggest need to figure out why Discovery isn't working. Let us know your TV ID / password (if you changed that) via a PM so we can log in and see why Discovery isn't working. But make sure the Thermostat is APK On and on the same subnet as myServer 6 is.
