One thing though.....is it possible to have the system append a .0 to integer values? So instead of the volume being recognized as 25 it is saved as 25.0? The way it is now is making things messy with my remote screen as it cycles through the volume levels. If I leave the alignment for the volume variable centered in the middle of a button it makes it hard to read the volume level because the numbers are constantly shifting around to account for the decimal place appearing/disappearing. If I set the alignment to the left it isn't very aesthetically pleasing, plus I have ".5" constantly flashing on and off if I hold down one of the volume buttons.

Just installed the update and see that the av_x_volume_db variable has been added and addresses the .5 volume increments. I noticed the new variable uses the relative volume scale, which I prefer, so even better. I also see that the regular av_x_volume variable also has the .5 fix applied and uses the absolute scale. Excellent!I'll modify the denon driver to create a volume variable that tracks the real dbs. it will be in the volume_db variable. It will make it's way into the next driver update.

Nillaz - have you tried controllings zone 2 (or 3) with the Denon driver. I can't get it to work. If I send any command to it, the log reads
ERROR · Denon.doCommand - Error: No valid controller found for av|30~Power~On
Zone 2 is AV|30 - so I'm stumped...

Did you enable the zone? Zones other than 1 are not enabled by default so as not to consume device slots.

Sorry Crabby I haven't tried zone 2 or 3. All of my receivers available channels are already in use.
If it ends up not being something simple like enabling those zones let me know. I can probably reconfigure things in order to help test for you when I get home tonight.

Thanks Nillaz and Dave
yes, I’ve ruled out anything obvious. Zone is enabled, just not responding to commands.
