Available is an optional screen protector for the new SmartRemote.
It is custom made to fit the SmartRemote screen with a glass protectant overlay.
How to install
1) Clean the SmartRemote screen using eyeglass cleaner and chamois cloth (ideally not "Windex"). Get it really clean and no buff marks.
2) Wash your hands to get off all oil.
3) Open the Screen package.
4) Note that the corners on one end are rounded vs. square. The rounded go towards the top of the SmartRemote.
5) Holding the glass by the edges, remove the protectant backing from the protector.
6) Align the rounded corners ensuring that the protector is square with the SmartRemote screen.
7) Carefully lay the glass down.
8) Rub any air bubble out from center to the sides immediately. Don't press too hard to break the screen(s)!
9) Give the protector a cleaning with your eyeglass cleaner.
