    Along the bottom are options for a DirecTV remote, TV Guide, Audio, Favorites & AppleTV. In addition you can touch the video camera on the left hand source options to get a live preview of what's playing on that source. Be sure to click around and try everything.

    In the large window select a player on the left. Then select an option layout on the right. Select available assets from the list provided. You can add a ticker of either a message or weather by checking the boxes. When you are finished making selections click “send to player”. Your choice will appear on the corresponding player above. To pause a video click the player once.

myServer - Adding Lighting

Details

myServer allows for selection of lighting devices to be specific to that room.

Overview

  1. Select compatible lighting technology (like ZWave, Zigbee, Caseta, etc)
  2. Setup the hardware and networking of the lighting "hub"
  3. Add the appropriate driver to myServer 
  4. Configure the driver for the hub.  Typically this will auto import the devices assigned to the hub as well.  Follow the driver's documentation carefully.
  5. Add each light device into a Room
  6. Add the Lighting Icon to the Sources / Apps in Dashboard.  Enable is selected, Name = Lighting, Icon image = /images/lighting.png, Activation macro = activate-source.lighting.
  7. Ensure the Lighting Icon is checked in Sources / Apps per Room
  8. Open the lighting.html webpage
  9. Select the room from the dropdown list
  10. Control the light for that room.  Controls will be appropriate if it's a Switch (on / off) or a Dimmer (on / off / dim)
  11. Optionally build a floorplan view using a graphics program (or hire Allonis's graphical services), place custom buttons on the floorplan view, edit the status variable name and command device names in the buttons.
