    Along the bottom are options for a DirecTV remote, TV Guide, Audio, Favorites & AppleTV. In addition you can touch the video camera on the left hand source options to get a live preview of what's playing on that source. Be sure to click around and try everything.

    In the large window select a player on the left. Then select an option layout on the right. Select available assets from the list provided. You can add a ticker of either a message or weather by checking the boxes. When you are finished making selections click “send to player”. Your choice will appear on the corresponding player above. To pause a video click the player once.

myServer 1U Build

Details

myServer 1U Build

Label Pi Gb on the ethernet port with Sharpie (ie: "4")

Put heat sinks on CPU, RAM, USB, ethernet (use black "low height" heat sinks)

Put HDMI extension on Pi4.

Put Pi on 1U.  Careful putting ethernet NIC into front panel.  Two screws to affix Pi, to mount, two more screws for HDMI extension to mount.

Put GPIO Waveshare heatsink on 40 pin GPIO pins.  Be carefull all are lined up.

Put Allonis decal on front face.

 

Burn latest myServer image to 128gig USB 3.0 / 400mhz storage drive

Install USB drive to bottom blue 3.0 usb slot

Plug HDMI cable to monitor into top HDMI port.

Plug Internet connected ethernet cable to PI NIC

Plug wireless keyboard / mouse adapter to top USB 2.0 port

Plus USB-C wallwart and power on.

 

Wait for OS to boot second time.

Accept Teamviewer License

Open Teamviewer console from bottom right icon

Write down TV ID

 

Go to TV desktop on a second PC.  Login to Allonis's TV account.  Add new Remote Computer.  Click + icon at top, then choose Add Remote Computer.

Type: TeamViewer ID, then Password:  Allonis=1

Alias Name computer with "Project name - Integrator name"

Put into "Current Project" Teamviewer folder

Type Allonis=1 in description.

Enter in any other relevant information in description.

Save by clicking OK.

 

Open Teamviewer myServer instance from list (Current Project folder)

Accept: Unlock Profile and Relaunch if asked.

Open 127.0.0.1/dashboard in browser (click on browser icon on bottom left to launch browser)

Click Commands.  Enter SetName|<<myServer project name (typically the name of the bar)>>

System will automatically rebooot.  Upon reboot:

Update myServer and all project relevant drivers / apps from Software Updater (dropdown far right Utilities tab)

Upon reboot, ask DaveP to license system.

System can be shipped.  If Template / Configuration work is available, best to update as much as possible before shipping.
