    In the large window select a player on the left. Then select an option layout on the right. Select available assets from the list provided. You can add a ticker of either a message or weather by checking the boxes. When you are finished making selections click “send to player”. Your choice will appear on the corresponding player above. To pause a video click the player once.

DirecTV Receiver Reviews

Details

DirecTV has a variety of receivers that can be controlled by myServer.  All we have reviewed work excellent.

Here are some tidbits:

For Residential, the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) feature is popular. The HR24 is commonly used.

Genie Mini clients work with the Genie RVU Server that provides whole home DVR features.  Video is stored on the central server and available for viewing by any Genie client.

The Genie 2 series supports 4K video.  Also has a receiver and a server component.

The H26K supports 4K Ultra HD high quality video.  Note that it needs to work with HDMI 2.0 and 2.2 video distribution and displays or no video will display with premium content.

The Gemini Satellite TV receiver works with a satellite dish OR as a streaming solution.  Fully compatible with myServer including direct channel entry (used with the myTVGuide app).

New is the Gemini Air Streaming device that does not require a satellite dish.  This receiver will soon be tested by Allonis for capability.
