ETA on the Echo integration?
Cannot put an exact date. The easy (relatively speaking) part is the "Alexa tell MLServer to" part. It is what comes after that where the fun begins. The server now needs a voice recognition engine capable of text to command translations. That is not a trivial task.

Any updates from the Marketing Department on future developments, priorities or strategic alliances?

It's like waiting for the new iPhone 7 to come out!

Interesting that the last sign in from Dave was more than 10 days ago. Certainly not like to old days and no one is posting anything.

Mario - Care to chime in here?

I spoke to Dave just recently. He's up to his eyeballs at the moment but it sounds like there are good things coming.

Yes And I am very busy as well; Still, I find time to sign in and contribute to the board and product. The best way to chase away a customer base is to just go stagnate with a software product.

Dave,

I couldn't agree with you more. I really want to believe that their silence was just an anomaly. However, after two or more months of silence, and the fact that only two employees sign in at all makes you question their long term viability!

I really hate to say that, but I'm beginning to wonder if I made a bad decision walking away from HomeSeer after using their product for over ten years!

I really, really hope they prove me wrong!

Best regards,

Todd

Even with the post below; It is a sad state of affairs around here. I like the old days better for sure. I truly think that I need to start looking about and re-evaluating what exact functionality I need. Nothing else out on the market has the functionality of this product. I will really aggravate me if I am forced to move on. Time will tell

I have been excited about Echo integration and so I ordered one on Prime Day. Looking forward to seeing where things go with ML!

Echo is a bit of a bear but I am confident I'll get it to work. You see amazon expects an Echo to talk to a 3rd party cloud server and not directly to N number of individual servers in N different locations. I'm working on it.
