Apple version?

Mon Aug 06, 2018 8:13 am

Is there an Apple version in the works at all? This maybe posted elsewhere but I couldn't find it, sorry.

Interested in Geofencing is why I ask.

No active progress so far for an apple version yet. It's on the to do list though.

I seem to remember there is a way to use Allonis in an Apple device. Is that true? I'm getting a new phone next week is the reason I ask. Should I prefer Android or iOS as it relates to my home automation project?

Thanks, Chris

myServer requires a modern browser like Chrome or Safari to render the user interface.
on an Apple, just add the myServer URL for your phone based UI to the "desktop" (can't remember the exact terminology).
This creates a shortcut that when selected, the UI displays full screen.

On Chrome, there are settings that are past on the link to launch the website that puts the browser into full screen kiosk mode.

For Android devices, there is a myUI.apk that also allows myServer to leverage the hardware devices on the phone for video intercom, GPS tracking etc.

For windows Desktop PCs, there is the new myUIPlayer that provides for easy kiosk mode.
