Mimo Monitors

Mon Apr 13, 2020 6:25 pm

It has been a LONG time since I was involved with ML or Allonis (At least 4 years). Business has been doing well, a lot of things are moving along. But some things had to take a backburner... and one of those was my full control of my house with Allonis. (My old house had ML, but when I moved, I simply never had the time to do a good integration of it.)

Well today I picked up a large lot of MIMO UM-1010 from an auction, and was trying to figure out the best thing to do with them. Well after I tested 8 of them and they all work when I plug a USB cable into my computer from the unit. I figured now would be a good time to figure out how to get them to work with Allonis and my setup.... or to part with them.

Any ideas?

Depending on what you want to use them for...in general I would say dump them.
Get an inexpensive web tablet device.
Monoprice has a killer price on a Vizio touchpanel that is perfect for home theater control with myServer.
$50 includes Qi wireless charging stand.

Back in the day of Flash MLServer, then sure, you would need a monitor / touchscreen in front of a PC. With browser based myServer, no longer needed.

Welcome back!!!
All kinds of things you can upgrade your system to now-a-days!

Do you have a link to this touchpanel? I cannot seem to find it on their website.
