How to setup automation rule based on a light turning on?

Sun Dec 23, 2018 8:32 am

I want to setup a rule that triggers when a light is switched off in the house. The light is UPB, and is in Family Manager. However, I don't see any variables associated with the light and therefore cannot figure out how to trigger an automation rule based on the change in light status - on to off? Thanks.

I use lighting via the HAI security driver. I also have all UPB lights. This works for me - for example:

Whenever lighting_106_status becomes off
Then Security|14~Arm~Away~4 Digit User Code

The variables for UPB lighting are generated, and updated when the status changes. Are you not seeing the variables updated?
