Installed showing a number of old versions

Sun Nov 19, 2017 7:48 am

I went to try out the latest MyServer build this morning to see if I could get the script issue resolved and Installer told me that I had a lot of upgrades. Under closer inspection, all of them showed older dates than the files I already have installed. Something seems to be amiss?

You are not logged into the subscription area. You are seeing all the trial versions which are much older than what is available to the folks who have purchased the subscription.

Aha - a great way for me to see the value of my subscription! Thanks.

I believe I was one of the first to sign up for the new subscription model for myServer. And I was probably one of the first to have his subscription expire.

And when the subscription expires, the installer is a bit "unfriendly". It actually prompted me to install *older* versions of Global Cache and Generic IP Camera drivers. And then the installation stops because the driver is older. That really doesn't seem like the right thing to do -- I had a subscription, I had a right to the drivers. Or so it seems.

Letting my subscription expire was just a lapse on my part, and I renewed it. But perhaps subscription expiration needs a bit more work.
