Tue Mar 28, 2017 8:15 am

I noticed this morning that their is a new download under the core application for #1. Should this be updated on our systems?

Thank you

First: Shutdown myServer and myAgent
Run myInstaller and download (don't try to install) the myInstaller update file.
Shutdown myInstaller
Go to the myServer\downloads directory
Run the myInstaller_setup.exe

Once myInstaller is updated, run it and download / install all new available files

There is an update to the audio components to address some buffering issues noticed.
symptoms include the next song starting before the last song had completely finished.

Yes, update all of your files to the latest.

Will an update be required for PCs just running the AV agent or is it just for the server?

Update myAgent on the secondary PCs to get the fixes on that PC.
All of the other updates (including myAgent if you use that on myServer PC) should be applied to the myServer PC.

Glad that got fixed. It got so I couldn't even listen to Gmusic anymore it was so bad. Seems to be working fine now.

I installed the new installer. When you say install all the new files does that include #2 the server that says never re-install.

Thanks
Al

Never go though the full SQL Server install a second time unless we tell you it is necessary. You'll end up reinitializing the SQL Server database and you can lose data. That is why there is a "Never Re-Install" warning. If you are annoyed by the fact that it constantly shows as a new update then you can run the SQL Installer up to the point when you see the check box "Run SQLInstaller Now". Stop there. UNCHECK THE CHECKBOX and then click finish. When you do that the SQL Installer will no longer appear as a new app and no harm is done to the SQL database.

I didn't think install all new files was right. That's why I questioned it.
Thanks for the explanation Dave.
