Win7 users, just a heads up.

For now, I am sticking with Windows 7. I find it reliable enough and know it well enough to keep it simple and fast. If you are planning on installing myServer on a win7 machine, make sure you have at least sp1 installed. SQL wouldn't install without sp1. Also myInstaller only requires .net 3.5, I downloaded .net 3.5 yet couldn't get myServer to run after getting SQL installed. Dave jumped on and mentioned to get .net 4.5.2. Everything is working flawlessly now. Hope this helps some new installers of the software.

Certainly an old thread, but Allonis recommends using Win10 for all new installations. Home or Pro.
Some installations of Pro require Enhanced Security to be turned off BEFORE installation of SQL Server.
