unifi driver

Just wondering what this driver does. Isn't Unifi a WiFi / networking platform?

It gathers status from all the various access points. It lets you know which ones are up and down and how many clients are connected to each of them.

Ok. Does the API for Unifi allow for interaction with other devices such as their network switches?

I believe it does but the current driver does not do anything control. It is just for monitoring the access points and the connected clients.

Their switches allow you to turn power to the ports on or off. Handy if you need to reboot a PoE device. I was wondering if I'd be able to set up a scene to do this rather than logging into the UniFi controller.
