Scaling again

Sat Nov 17, 2018 9:58 am

If I wanted to use the Modern UI/Tablet on a screen which is 1366x768 do I only need to change the target width/height in custom.js for the directory?

Or do I also need to futz with the scenes?

Just use the scenes as is. The 1024x768 scenes should automatically be centered on the 1366 wide display. You'll have black bars to the left and right. If you want to utilize the full display then you'll have to modify the scenes manually.

On the Samsung tablet, it is filling the screen top to bottom. But is on the left, with about 2.5 inches of black space on the right (top to bottom).

Changing the custom.js doesn't seem to do anything for it.

Windows 10, I tried adjusting the scaling in the display properties, (to 125%) but that just drove the vertical scale off the bottom of the screen.

Am I missing something?

Windows 10 Chrome is desktop Chrome and it will not scale like mobile Chrome. So you will have to open your styles.css file in the css folder in notepad.

Find
body {
.....
}

and add
body {
position:absolute;
top:0;
left:171px;
.....
}

This will offset the body of the page so that it will appear centered on the 1366 wide screen.
