HS Speaker.exe

Is there a way to have ML to cause the name and phone number to be announced via the speaker.exe instances in HomeSeer? Command would be to speak name and number to host:instance like HS does.

I believe you could do that via tha MLHSPlugin. You can experiment with the syntax following examples in the MLHSPlugin documentation. You would need a parameter in there of which client.

Or, you can use the new MainLobby Client ability to pass audio to a client. See the latest release notes for MLClient.

Or, you can use MLSpeak for speaking via the server. And very likely MLSpeak will also be broadened for client usage as well, but that doesn't exist today.

Yes, there is a way. Not sure if I have support for the multiple speaker.EXE's in MLHSPlugin yet but you can do a :

MLServeCMD.MLHSPlugin|HS_Speak: text to speak

This will speak it out the default instance of speaker.exe...

At some point I will add the multiple instances parameter to MLHSPlugin.

How do you make the instance you want to be the default?
